I’m Danielle—a designer and leader with 18 years of experience building, critiquing, and directing stories.

My background is a blend of East Coast energy and Midwestern warmth—a mix of academic rigor from my years as a professor and the fast-paced world of tech startups, where I currently lead the brand strategy for Kremenak NanoTech, Inc (KNT).

I’ve chaired departments and managed brands—but my favorite "long-term project" so far is being a mom. It has all been a pleasure.

My path has been a scenic one—I started on the east coast with degrees in communications and dance, worked as a designer for an architecture firm, and eventually moved west to earn my MFA in video art and graphic design at the University of Missouri.

This trajectory is defined by a constant curiosity about how we communicate and build stories. I’ve learned that success lies in the ability to translate a complex vision into a tailored, impactful solution.

For me, design is more than a professional discipline; it is how I process the world and extends to an artistic practice. Using poetry as a foundation, I create video artworks and handmade books that explore the universal themes of grief, family, and friendship.

Whether I am elevating a brand or hand-binding a book, I focus on the narrative. And through every chapter, I am always building, always refining, and always curious.
